Manchester, Lancashire - Fustian Maker (1746 -1811) See  The Hartwrights page 2
His descendants  lived in
Lancashire and Canada. The male line appears to have  ceased. Present day Hartwrights live in the UK and Australia.

William of Clerkenleap's second surviving son
John of Swinesherd, Worcs. later Tibberton, Worcs. - Farmer (1753 - 1837) See The Hartwrights page 4
His male descendants remained in the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire until the 1990’s. The younger generation are now scattered around

Southern England.

William of Clerkenleap third surviving son
George of Timberdine, Worcester - Farmer (1754 - 1836) See The Hartwrights page 5
All of his male descendants remained in Worcestershire until about 1865. The senior line of this branch are now mainly in the south of England and also South Africa. Others branches are in Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Derbyshire (see also George of Longdon Heath’s descendants) and
Wales.

No known male descendants.

William of Clerkenleap's youngest son
James of The Rhydd, Worcs. - Farmer (1765 - 1834) See The Hartwrights page 8
His male descendants initially lived on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border and subsequently dispersed to Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Shropshire, Devon, Staffordshire, Lancashire and Hong Kong.

 


Thomas I of Claines third son by his second wife Elizabeth Jones was

John of Hanbury, Worcs.  (1760 - 1831) See The Hartwrights page 9
His first two sons are not known to have had any children.

John of Hanbury’s third son

William of Oxford, Oxfordshire – Cordwainer  (1794 - 1868) See The Hartwrights page 9

You will find his descendants in Australia, the south of England & Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. A brother and sister in one of the branches emigrated to Canada, but he was killed in World War I. There may be another branch in northern USA.

George of Upton on Severn, Worcs. Gamekeeper (1767 -1833) See George Hartwright - licensed to kill 1789

George of Upton on Severn’s eldest son 

George of Castlemorton, Worcs. – Sawyer (1818- cir 1839) See The Hartwrights page 11

His descendants mainly live in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire and Ontario, Canada.

 

George of Upton on Severn’s second son

James of Longdon Heath, Worcs. and Darien CT USA - Tailor later Gamekeeper (1819-1907) See The Hartwrights page 12

His sons Esau and Ezra, emigrated to the USA circa 1881, where the rest of the family joined them. Descendants are known in Connectict , Florida, Massachusetts, Texas, and California .


Thomas of Oddingley, Worcs.  (c 1726 - not known) See The Hartwrights page 13
His descendants are scattered in Staffordshire, Birmingham, Warwickshire and the USA.
