Here is his bookplate. Two families of Hartwrights met for the first time during World War II, one from Lancashire and another from Worcestershire. They discovered that they each had a copy of this 18th century bookplate and realised that they must be related. Richard's brothers were William of Manchester, Lancashire and John of Swinesherd, near Worcester, the ancestors of the two families who met during World War II.
